To expand the internal staff, we are looking for a Project Manager, who can join our team in Milan and will be included on important projects in the field of Business Intelligence
What will you do
- Work planning and coordination of teams made up of internal figures and external consultants, making use of their input to complete the projects assigned, ensuring the time and costs expected in the manner agreed
- Design and implementation of Business Analytics solutions to understand, improve and optimize customer business processes, proposing innovative solutions and exploiting new market technologies
- Lead of digital transformation projects with a team of developers while always keeping in mind the importance and responsibility of estimating the cost of solutions, monitoring budgets and implementing effective project governance. The management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders at managerial level is also important and fundamental.
What we are we looking for
The ideal candidate has the following requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Assimilated Work Experience
- +7 years of cross-industry experience in consulting firms or large international companies
- Experience in implementing large digital transformation and integration projects
- Experience in managing project teams from 5 to 10 people
- Analytical approach in project governance, expectation management, risk mitigation, troubleshooting and implementation of agreed deliverables
- Ability to provide a clear and comprehensive project work plan and project status reporting
- Application/system/architectural experience in some environments such as: Microsoft Azure and Power BI, SAP BI and SCP, SAS, GCP, AWS, Qlik
- Experience in functional analysis and process re-engineering
- Management of assigned projects from start-up to planning, execution and closure
- Identification and formalisation of objectives and all project requirements
- Work planning according to objectives
- Measurement of project progress (project metrics)
- Definition and control of the corrective actions necessary with remittance of the plan in order with the objectives
- Quality control of partial products and compliance with adopted quality standards
- Risk identification and control (risk management)
- Management of communication and reporting/formalization of project SAL
- Coordination activities of internal and external teams (supplier companies) establishing and following project schedules and plans
- Support the introduction of new business intelligence, analytics and discovery processes to facilitate the management of business data.
